BCCI handling of this Kohli Episode has been nothing short of PCB level of unprofessionalism

I don't understand why some BCCI sources are deliberately leaking inside info to the media. Is it to put pressure on Kohli ? But why ? Kohli is still the Captain and main member of the side, and if BCCI has any plan for the future they should be upfront about it to Kohli rather than putting pressure on him through their sources in the media.

BCCI is playing some weird mind games with their own Captain like some political party.

This also indicates that Kohli's best days as an authoritative figure of Indian Cricket are about to end soon.

Honestly, a lot more will start to come out with time. It will be time for shift of power, and such things happen.

I can even go to say that  there is possibility that Kohli might have hard time to even be in WC23 team if his form remains same.

What non-sense.

What has Rohit done in anything that Ankit is talking about.

Exactly. We will stand at the absolute bottom, if you rate all the societies by Meritocracy. This is not just in our old babudom, but also in our shiny overhyped private enterprises.

We don't know how the discussions are going. Maybe bcci wanted him to quit all formats captaincy, but he isn't willing to

Bcci is trying hard to portray these tactical moves as 'leaks'. Lol

If this leads to Kohli's departure from loi captaincy then I am Ok with it, he needs to focus on batting.

Bcci has the power to drop him as captain, this does not make any sense.

Clearly he has a fallout with Ganguly/Shah & they are pissed & are trying to show who's the boss.

Kohli is a powerful figure in Indian cricket & taking him on requires good strategy & execution.  BCCI so far doing that wonderfully.  Great work

Par for the course to bring down a power hungry, narcissistic dictator. He should have resigned from all formats to focus on his batting but he knows that as a pure batter he doesn't merit a place. He is trying to buy time to regain batting form and keep his place secure.

Actually this makes perfect sense. By making the public aware of Kohli's shenanigans, there won't be an outcry when he is dismissed.

Why is this unprofessional? If you don't know how modern day PR works best to not put your knowledge to test!

Did you see the last (2016) US elections? Just sayin :--D

As you sow, so shall you reap. For the last 4-5 years, Kohli camp has manipulated public opinion through planted stories in media about individuals. Now is the payback time.

Nothing wrong if such stories come out. Infact it's a necessity to ensure no one is seen as the only savior of Indian cricket. For far too long, he's hada free run. At some stage, the merry ride had to get over.

Dropping him against his wishes will be pr nightmare for bcci, most fans will take his side. Maybe with these leaks, coupled with his poor form, they're hoping to change the public sentiment

Do ya really think so?

The ones who support him will continue to do so and the ones who don't won't budge an inch.

This makes zero sense.

Also Kohli might himself step down so all this would reflect poorly on BCCI.
