I would have not even married if I were in Virat Kohli's place. just score runs and enjoy cricket, these 10-12 years of cricket are different time and doesn't come again, As the family responsibility increases, so does the pressure. Cricketers have a short career span of 14-15 years in which you stay at the peak for five-six years.

I think it depends on individual's personality, in Kohli's case we all know he is super emotional. Hardly any sportspeople marry at peak of their career. It's either before they became an established player or in twilight of their career.

Sachin was never affected by marriage. It also depends on how you manage to keep your personal life as low key as possible so that career can take the center stage.

And since I am a typical Indian male who cannot end my post without sexism, I would say kohlis wife being a drama queen attention seeker sorry I mean social media influencer doesn't help the cause because kohli being delhi ka munda is equally into bragging and preaching gyaan. I mean dude focus on your batting. Bakchodi can be done after retirement.

Sachin married in 1995 just before his best years 96-99, also Anjali Tendulkar was much more mature in age (6+) and Sachin self admitted that Anjali is like a mentor to him.

Steven Smith married in 2018 as did Root. I don't believe that this was before/after their peak years. Moreover, SRT was excellent in tests from '91-92 and good in ODIs from '94 onward.

That's a personal choice, Shoaib has no business in deciding when Virat should get married, whether he should or not. He should mind his own business and stay away from such cringeworthy comments. Its a common fan beleif that Virat has regressed after marriage, it's a different story when fans take a dig at Kohli. But coming from a former cricketer with a million followers and subscribers is shameful to say the least.

Whenever this guy Shoaib opens his mouth , says nothing but BS, just to stay in the news. He is an embarrassment for Pakistan, after his retirement. Can you guys adopt him. please.

It works in Pakistan, may not necessarily work in India. Shoaib married a 21 year old girl in his 40s after retirement, Kohli may not have been that lucky with a match. Kohli minted everything when at his peak, both on field and off field , so there can't be any regrets. It's a different topic that he is a dud player now and should think of retirement.

Shoaib spouting off as usual. ultimately, it depends on the person(s) involved, not the timing of marriage itself

He meant something else, but came something different from his mouth
