"We’re back," N Srinivasan taunts Vinod Rai; attacks ICC

I'd actually settle for our team winning the T20 WC, World Test championship or for that matter a test series win in SENA against full strength teams. As the richest board, trophies trump money as it is something that money can't buy.

@Gollum This guy (seeni maama)coming back is nothing but bad news. Our Indian team hasn't won anything of repute since the IPL spot fixing scandal. That is bad karma. I'd actually want the bcci president Ganguly to stick to what he promised that he'd make kohli win big trophies. That's all that matters at the end of the day.

Both can happen parallely, we need $$$ to run cricket in the country efficiently, and others stealing our share has to be opposed.

I don't believe in this good karma, bad karma stuff. Besides didn't we win the 2013 CT after that scandal ?

Amit Shah and Srinivasan - will Dada have any room to work independently or will he be a figurative head. Interesting days ahead. Going by Dada’s record, he will not play second fiddle to anyone.

In any case, if Srini helps us beat the **** out of Shashank Manohar at ICC, am all for it.

Nothing wrong with this statement. Problem is nepotism and I hope he has learned something.

You can’t take away anything from India. One has to recognise that India is sustaining international cricket. We will eventually get our due”.

There was no nepotism issue with Srinivasan even before.

is rupa not his daughter?

Anyway let us not derail the topic, currently his leadership is needed. Vinod rai has been there for a long time and ICC is trying to syphon Indian money off.

If Don Srini can keep the likes of ECB in check, I'm all for it. This idea of ICC tournaments every now and then is all ecbs idea. There s no need for so many tournaments in England. Hosting it there is expensive . ICC spends way too much and that's coming from bccis share. That is unacceptable .

Srini mama will keep ecb and icc at its place. ecb has been dominating proceedings with promise of hope for poor boards and icc spent a lot of money in the world cup. BCCI should keep them honest and snake manohar should get the axe

It is all about ECB making money thru backdoor.

Happy the CoA will be gone from BCCI proceedings. Whatever complaints we have with Srini, CoA was a joke and much worse.

Ideally we get less corruptionin BCCI without capitulating to demands of ICC trying to curtail our power
