But when it comes to being worst, there are hardly any competition to Bangla fans. I am actually not able to find an adjective to define them - Aabegi, Jazbaati, Junooni, Minnowisque or pure retards? First of all, it is clearly written in ICC protocol that failure to report the approach of a bookie is a corruption and can led to a ban. Players are taught this time and again. An experienced player like Shakib was well aware of this but did not report it, not once but on 3 occasions. Not only that, he even wanted to meet the bookie, deleted the questionable interactions in whatsapp and discussed about Bitcoin payments. So this notion that 'Oh So Innocent Shakib' just forgot to report it to ACU is a lie and there was something more sinister about it. He himself knew it very well, didn't wanted to drag this matter anymore and accepted the verdict unchallenged. Many would even argue that he got away with a lenient ban. Also, he is not the first cricketer banned for this offense. Kushal Lokuarrachi (18 months), Siddhart Trivedi (1 year), Jean Symes (7Years), Lou Vincent (3 years) etc. all faced bans before for failure to report a bookie. Rather than accepting the gravity of the situation, the behavior of the Bangla fans disgust me to the core. They have totally hijacked ICC page and spamming on every post, even on those that are not related to BD cricket. They are also relentlessly spamming twitter accounts of Micheal Vaughan, Ramiz Raja, Scott Styris etc. who criticized Shakib on their twitter page. Good on Vaughanny though (being the troll he is) for taking Bangla fans head on. Some of them even sending facebook message to Kohli & Rohit's public page saying "Hey I am a bookie. I have a offer of millions of dollars if you pass team info", taking screenshot of that and posting in ICC page saying Virat and Rohit also failed to report approach of bookie and now pls ban them or else 'Aamago Shakib ko firiya dao (Pardon our Shakib) I know the above may sound funny but I am totally disgusted at their behavior. And this is not only the first time they are acting immaturely. Remember after Asia cup loss last year, they hijacked Kohli's twitter account? Then they created chopped head picture of MS Dhoni in 2016? List goes on and on. For far too long people ignored these considering they are minnows but looks like it is getting worse day by day. Gets thrashed against Afg in a home test and acts like they are some world beaters Bangladeshi fans need to accept that Shakib was involved in shady affairs like Ashrafool was and being banned correctly. Shakib did expressed his interest to meet face to face when bitcoins, dollar account was mentioned in his conversation with the bookie. This definitely is a serious offence. Many people are questioning whether he was harshly punished or somehow being saved from a mess. Shakib not contesting against this decision shows something was fishy.
