his own understanding of his game is what makes him great

If it were Naseem Shah or Musa Kohli would have pulled a shamsi and showed them a magic trick by pulling autographed  teddy bears from his bat to amuse the “toddlers.

That would have been a different version of an animated Kohli

Really? You folks are so gullible. He only does well in bilaterals where stakes are low. I can bet you that this same lodhu would have choked under pressure in a big match in main event like world cup or wt20.

Say that again after seeing this match:

Super V is T20 GOAT, was amazing in multiple WT20s. Question mark is in ODI format.

Phew , what n innings and a real slug fest , hopefully they go on from here n pick the right players. Shami needs to come in and two truckers will prove costly or

Else. Think some flicks by Kohl i and strokes by Rahul n Shimron were amazing

In fact this is the most important part to be successful . That's why  Pant is struggling , does not seem to know what are his shots for different kinds of bowling , does not assess game situations and bowlers .

Even yesterday , Pant could have just survived Cotterel  over and then bashed Pollard and  other weaker  bowlers .

In fact most batsmen understand their game well and their strong points by 25 ish  and start peaking.

Even KP  yesterday was echoing the same thing in DUGOUT and both Lara & KP were of the opinion that around 25-26 , they started reaching their peak.

he is 21....he ll learn with time

Problem with guys like pant, yuvraj, rohit is they have to many options in terms of shot making as compare to young kohli. Which is why kohli talked highly about rohit talent always. Once he ll find his feet he ll look a diff player.

yup KP mentioned how he was on pant and then he realized he is just 21 which is young age so now even he feels ppl  shud have patience . The only way pant will get better is by playing and these failures will make him a better player

No doubt it was a great innings however I just hate the way it's been glorified in media n social media.

Well said. Nobody doubts his abilities as a player. He has achieved a test series victory in Aus and is responsible for our test success and fast bowling support in recent times. But in shorter format, there are questions that need to be answered and the only answer is by winning a world cup not showboating in bilaterals. Media is all about sucking up to whoever is the great one and whoever makes more controversy and drama in the matches and interviews. Can't rely on them to judge players and their leadership. I'm not even going to the commentators yet. They suck. Its a delight when Bishop and Ganga show up and show how bad our commentary team is. All are on super v deek
