They are pretty much destroying the team for Dhoni to come back in, both as a keeper and a finisher and have picked duds to justify Dhoni coming back in. Same as the World cup last year when they didn't give anyone who was capable and talented a fair run in the middle order including KL because they didn't want Dhoni and his non performance under the scanner and the focus remained on the other useless middle order batsmen. He is the kind of captain who will give equal chances to yuvraj singh and sadagopan ramesh. He has no idea about what the word talent means. If we judge youngsters on talent alone then Shaw>Pant>=gill>kl>>>samson. With an aging Saha and no other real backups, he will get more than fair amount of chances in tests, which is the most important format according to our kaptaan. He can surely get back in LoIs on the back of his IPL and test performances. He has age on his side too. So if his International career tanks, it will totally be his own responsibility. Its actually scary just how good our T20, ODI and Test teams could be if the right selections were made. This would arguably be our best T20 side.
