Former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi has once again stirred up quite the controversy with another pointed remark of his on the Indian cricket team that he and his Pakistani team mates faced during his cricketing days. Afridi created quite the storm with a bold statement stating the during his cricketing days, Pakistan dominated arch rivals India to such an extent that the Indian cricketers would seek forgiveness from them.

Another thing he said in this interview when asked about his statement of getting more love in India than Pakistan during 2016 T20 WC, he said being an ambassador he had to say those things but didn't mean them. So he is basically accepting that he is a liar and India me uski fatt rahi thi...so simply praised India back then.

I think what he meant was lighthearted. Maybe the Indian players would joke around them. Because around 96-99ish, India did lose often against them. 

I think if you break their sentences and point out a few words, it may go out of context to create sensationalism. 

Having said that, Pakistan cricket board needs to arrange a PR Manager who gives briefing to all players of the past and present the kind of language to be used. Shahid Afridi more often than not, talks like a roadside illiterate.
