You are allowed to win alternate matches... if you win the T20 series, the Tuesdays match will become a dead rubber..  not allowed in Australia...

It's just a bilateral, so no big deal if he didn't take the safer option of batting first. We need to do a few chases to get better at it. Let's hope the team takes a more aggressive batting approach today!

No short leg or leg slip for Sibley for far too long. Had cover or even two cover fielders some times for a guy who isn't really going to cover drive

 

Leave cover open especially for Sibley, ask Ashwin to pitch outside and tempt the drive.

Seriously what kind of idiot does that? Lost the momentum there, when Lambu and Ash were bowling in tandem looked like a flurry of wickets was around the corner, even Root was under serious pressure.

He does what is pre-decided at the time of team meeting. Like he brought in Bumra for Lawrence. But he doesn't think smartly in the middle. Probably it was pre-decided to give three overs to Ishant, so he brought on Nadeem.

Today’s problem is selection... cannot have Ishant and bumrah in the same team in this pitch  ... similar bowlers from length ... shradul would have been a better pick ... look at England they have full length (Anderson) and back of length (archer) as their bowlers ... this goes back to selection .. whoever is responsible for that .

That was classic Kohli. And we were being told he was helping the team win in Aus from 5000 miles away.

 

Add to those moronic bowling changes, the totally defensive fields and then pathetic body language. But he got his PR quota by helping Root with his stretching
