Lone Wolf
Both of the inns he played in this game were massive. The first one was brilliant & the other was Clutch. The game was heading for a draw & Cummins was breathing fire & that cameo brought us back in it. Even in T20 when he is bowling dude looks calm & composed. He is only 21 & his First test & a left hander.. What a playyaa Banton, ravishingravi, nevada and 5 others 1 2 5 Link to comment

What a playyaa basically he was given the license to go for it by Rahane as was Gill, Pant and Mayank. Even Rahane's batting showed that he was thinking of a win. How understated is Rahane when he was asked about his melbourne century, he put the focus on team work rather than talk about his own performance. Top class shown by Rahane Edit: not taking anything away from Sundar's coolness under pressure. He played two great innings under pressure against a world class bowling lineup in their fortress. Also outbowled his spin bowling counterpart Edited January 19, 2021 by Real McCoy nevada, Vk1, express bowling and 1 other 4 Link to comment
kubrickian
What's surprised me how selective his shot selection is. Its not easy to score runs on a 5th day Gabba wicket against that Aussie attack. But Pant and Sundar managed 5 RPO in last 10+ overs. Great stuff. Think he needs to be a regular in ODIs/T20s for sure. Edited January 19, 2021 by kubrickian Lone Wolf and nevada 2 Link to comment

He can be a better version of Jaddu in future. Just 21 right now. Link to comment

jf1gp_1
No matter how much one feels for Rahane, I need Virat to give me a reason why Sundar shouldnt play ahead of him at 5 ? Lone Wolf 1 Link to comment
ShoonyaSifar
Imagine he played under Kohli for 3 seasons at RCB and Kohli had no idea about his batting prowess! Took a Rahane to pick him as a Test allrounder. And how wonderfully he has responded to the opportunity and the challenge. Should be seen as a proper middle order batsman now. nevada and bowl_out 1 1 Link to comment

Cricketics
The guy in short career handled Starc, Hazlewood, Cummins, Broad, Anderson, Lyon, Leech amd Stokes with ease when rest of the Indians have struggled. This is brilliant in his short career. velu, beetle, nevada and 5 others 1 7 Link to comment

To be fair even TN hasnt been playing him in Ranji so you cant blame Virat. Also Washington just got lucky to find a place in playing XI and boy has he made the most of it. Link to comment
beetle
He is the find of 20-21. While we were waiting to be mesmerized by the Shaws and Gills, this guy has delivered far more than expected. Mosher, Vijy, Straight Drive and 4 others 1 6 Link to comment
