Lol. At least kl rahul saying that made bit sense cause he used to bat at 145 - 150 sr in ipl (before his statement) but gill himself plays at strike rate of 120s and now is saying it's overrated.

Yes and no. Strike Rate of 5 down and openers are not a viable comparison. Nevertheless it is an important metrics.

These are the things our think tank loves to hear. These players are smart to know what to say to please them. They have seen what Pant went through by not giving a f*** to what the jokers said to him.

 

As long as these are mere statements, it's okay. But the problem is when they start following it in matches

gill actually needs to work on this part of game if he wants to fulfill his potential in every format.
