Popular Post Singh bling Posted May 24, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2021 On 18 April me and My entire family.Rt pcr confirmed it on 22 April started having Covid symptoms. for 5 days I had high fever upto 103.5 but no drop in oxygen level . From 6 th day Fever declined but spo level went down to 92-93. As I had several illnesses including reduced lung function My breathing became quite difficult. Condition detoriated in 9th 10 day so much that spo level was falling below 80. Me and my brother tried some hospitals but no bed was available. Oxygen too was in very short supply and 1 cylinder have to be shared by several patients. By 10 th day I thought it's over for me . I was cursing ICC for not having T20 WC for 5 years as I want to see it . By 11th 12 th day my condition improved slightly spo level went as above 80. Coincidentally we find a bed in small nearby hospital . But again their oxygen got finished on the night i got admitted. Next day my brother arranged concentrator for me and I remained in hospital for 4 days . my condition improved a lot and spo level was above 90. It's now a month and I am still recovering from Covid. Recovery is very slow but improving. Hopefully I will be able to Watch next T 20 WC . rkt.india, I6MTW, Mariyam and 23 others 4 6 16

vvvslaxman Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 I am glad you have pulled through. That is quiet an ordeal mirroring many stories that i have heard. Even a flu can wipe you out. But COVID is a different beast. It drains you. I am sure there will be therapy options available in due course to get your lung back to normal. Watch your diet for next few weeks.
gattaca Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 Get well soon. Drink lot of fluids and keep watching oxygen levels.

Khota Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 Sorry to hear this bro. Not much you can do but since you are young odds are in your favor. Get vaccinated soon and dont be picky which shot you get. I dont know the waiting period of vaccine after Covid +ve. That you have to check with your doctor.

What was the medicine given to you for the first 5 days and later? What did you do which you think helped you. Just do pranayama every day and recite mrutyunjaya mantra which will help you.

Doxycycline , Ivermectin and later fabilflu were prescribed by online doctors . Later hospitalgave steroid injections What worked for me ? No answer . Covid is so mysterious disease that it can get and kill anybody irrespective of health. My cousin who is same age of me and was athlete in younger days is on oxygen support even after a month While an oxygen concentrator for 5-7 days worked for me. During normal time he was 10 times stronger and healthier than me urbestfriend, Vilander and mishra 2 1
rkt.india Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 Take care bro. You will be fine. Just stay positive.
beetle Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 Take care SB Take it easy for sometime now and let your body heal. Don't think too much about the trauma you have gone though....try to find a happy place in the head and think about that. Don't read too much covid news. Watch some fun stuff on tv or online. It is important to give your mind some relief too. Take care and best wishes to your cousin for recovery. Vilander 1
