I6MTW
Her and Leander Paes. Case can be made for Abhinav Bindra as well. Sushil Kumar in terms of achievements, but his personal life has made a black hole overall. Link to comment

Gambit
Sushil Kumar and Sindhu for consistency, Abhinav Bindra for being the only individual gold medallist and Leander for the first ever individual medallist in 50 years and ending a 16 year drought. raki05 1 Link to comment
SK_IH
I don't know the ranking of her opponent in today's match but Sindhu once again reiterated her skills & composure in a big match. Such aggressive & fast game when the medal is on the line. Definitely the kind of sportsperson India needs. On the topic, she is India's greatest individual athelete, Dhyan Chand over her for the greatest overall tag. Edited August 1, 2021 by SK_IH raki05, Gollum and Cricspin 3 Link to comment

Vickydev
Has to be Sindhu. Sushil Kumar is a disgrace. Ruined preparations for 2016 with all that nonsense with the other Indian wrestler(dont remember his name). Bit his opponent in the ear as well in 2012 semis. Sindhu wins handsdown for me Link to comment
kohli
Can someone told me where is saina nehwal. Is she playing in Olympic ? Link to comment
Lone Wolf
Individually.. Maybe yes she is. Sushil has wrecked his reputation. Bindra is phenomenal case as well but Sindhu edges him barely. Link to comment
G_B_
she is still 26.... I am sure she will want another go in 2024... might be too old then but you never know. Rises to the occasion. Tai Tzu-ying is a year older than her. Link to comment

Is that really that old? kind of is in womens badminton but unlike the chinese we dont really have a pipeline (they get great prospects every few years so one only plays around 2 times before being shunted out) so might play another. His great rival Geet Sethi is India's greatest, he has 1000+ break like Mike Russell. Maybe Pankaj can surpass Geet in a few years time. Professional snooker is the real deal, Ronnie, Hendry, Davis those guys. Edited August 1, 2021 by Gollum neel roy 1 Link to comment
