Why is our clown captain always separate from the team in celebrations?

Has to be captured by the cameras doing this fake clownery so that his PR gang can amplify these images to show how great a leader he is. Note that such images have become more common recently as runs have dried up.

A replica of the last couple of years of Dhoni around 2015-17. The focus was more on what he was saying into the stump mic, how great he was with stumping etc (while countless drops got no coverage)! Desperate times, desperate measures.

I am no conspiracy theorist but just observe the way even when doing something as basic as drinking water/energy drink he turns towards the camera a certain way. I feel he is very conscious and aware of that.

I am not saying this is totally wrong because no one wants to have awkward moments with all those cameras around but it all adds up when you have these kind of antics come up regularly.

What I do not like *at all* is this:

Byju's is an edutech app. Used by students as young as in the 5th grade. Wearing a Byju's jersey Kohli goes postal at every spectator/ team mate/opposition player. This is not the kind of branding that Byju's should have.

They should introduce some clauses into their contract expressly prohibiting this kind of behaviour, which Kohli indulges in repeatedly.

PS: Its still okay if he did all this in a Kingfisher jersey.

Hoped that with age, marriage, fatherhood he would learn to behave. Clearly not the case.

Aggression should show in your batting performance, captaincy....not this ****.

Other captains are usually giving pep talks, composing the team, sharing strategies during these huddles but Virat is more focused on the front-page headline celebration shot
