Good squads - MI, CSK, RR 

 

Average squad - SRH, LSG  

 

Poor squads - RCB, KKR, GT

People are again forgetting IPl is going to be played in 3-4 venues totally.  Pitches will be tired.  Teams like KKR DC & RR can make a big impact. 

KKR especially punches above its weight every single time.  A momentum based team.  CSK is well CSK..  Conway Moeen are gun picks from them.

I would rather look at the positive side. Franchises will now rely on newer players and not just the established stars. The coaches and strategists will have to change their approach. So we may end up seeing a more balanced competition.

 

In any case, the quality of cricket in both the India leg and UAE leg of IPL last season was very poor. If BCCI focusses on producing proper T20 pitches and not the slow low sluggish pitches, the overall standards will improve.

The only good thing about KKR is their spinners. Narine, VC and Nabi. Can choke the opposition with spin or else a dull team to watch.

their spinner need someone to build pressure from top

cummins, mavi n umesh can take wkts but they can leak big time n they do that regularly

These teams have picked really good sides.

 

Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata- the four most popular teams at one point would be slightly disappointed.

 

Now, result will obviously depend on a lot of factors here as T20 is a format of unpredictability. But on paper, those five teams look pretty solid.

 

I will add CSK to this list too. Good team.

 

Kolkata, Gujarat, Bangalore and Archer- less Mumbai are worst in this order.

KKR have picked another seam bowling alrounder Aman Khan. Would like to see if they open with V Iyer and Aman at some point in the tournament.

@Ankit_sharma03 SRH has put on an exciting team. I am looking forward to 2 teams that are exciting SRH and kind of like how Punjab has shaped up too.

 

SRH and tie between MI and Punjab as the 3 teams I would want to follow.

yup they kind of remind me of RR during warne . If they play players in their ideal position opposition will not able to figure them out till more then half a season

The 5-6-7 of Punjab has Livingstone,SRK and Odean Smith. On paper sounds like fun.
