Only thing going of ODIs is that the most prestigious tournament by far in cricket is played in the ODI format.

May be they should only have limited odi games with an intent to practice in the lead up to World Cup and scrap t20 word cup and keep t20s to bilateral and league

Financially, it still makes more sense than test cricket for most boards. Would be a shame to see it go as for me ODI World Cup will still be the greatest event in cricket.

Playing World T20 every other year is pretty stupid if you ask me .

The only way ODIs surviving is if T20's are restricted primarily to leagues, bilateral Test cricket restricted to boards that can actually profit off it  and continue with a version of  ODI Super League(bilaterals/triangular/4 nations)or something similar that builds up to a World Cup

It has certainly diluted the quality of cricket and value of a world champion title.  T20 leagues make more sense than T20 international cricket. Cricket is a complex game. Even if you promoted to other countries it will take decades for a country to compete with big boys consistently. Country has to be passionate about the sports. Infrastrcuture, finance, domestic structure. That is the only reason T20 can be backed. Other than that this format should be restricted to leagues.

•Keep Test Cricket the way it is.

•No Bilateral ODI'S & T20I'S.

•Tri Series ODI'S & T20I'S (Maximum 4 games including Final, in total 8 games if you include both formats) per year.

•ODI & T20 World Cup every 4 years, alternating between formats every 2 years.

•No Champions Trophy

•Maybe add T20I'S in Olympics (every 4 years)

Need to make odi's more bowler friendly. Better pitches instead of flat pancakes and maybe go back to one ball rule and bring reverse swing back into play. Evenly balanced games where scores of around 250 are the norm and the chasing team finds it a challenge to score those runs. These 300+ odi scores these days look like extended t20's and it gets boring really quick.

Exactly bro !

If there is a fight between the bat and ball then ODIs are really fun to watch.

ODIs must get back their true identity.

It's also the best format for new players to debut in.

It's bilateral T20Is which I find boring  ( while IPL once a year is fun )

Probably, not much interest in games not involving the home team

I'm sure the overall spike in interest can compensate for that. Most games in tri series have something riding on them.

Still there wasn't much interest iirc ... even in WC ppl (the world over) don't watch all the games even if those game have something riding on them
