How to fit Ishan Kishan in ODI XI without losing balance ?

With Ishan throwing his hat spectacularly for a permanent place in ODI XI, things are heating up with " seniors" surely feeling the heat now.

But how can we fit him or Gill or Samson or SKY in the playing with seniors not willing to step aside.

For the top 5 in ODI first XI, we have the following ten candidates.

Rohit

Dhawan

Gill

Ishan

Kohli

Iyer

Rahul

Pant

Sky

Samson

None of them can bowl though which is so disappointing and exactly the reason you can't even pick 6/10 here. It has to be preciely 5 with Pandya, Jadeja and Washington to follow.

Dhawan was a phenomenal player he had quite a good run at the top, for ever great full for his thigh slaps and candor up at the top. May be he can make way at the top. May be everyone can move up a slot and give kishan his slot.

Good thread.

Make Hardik the captain.

Then

1. Gill

2. Kishan ( wk )

3. Kohli

4. Shreyas

5. SKY

6. Hardik ( c )

7. Jadeja

8. Washington

9. Bumrah

10. Umran / Sen / Kuldeep Y

11. Siraj / Prasidh

Aise kaise, Dravid won't allow his namesake to rot in domestics.

Rohit(C) - He will play, so no further discussion.

Kishan

Kohli - He too will play.

Pant

Hardik

SKY

Jadeja

Sundar

Bumrah

Siraj

Umran

This is the XI that will easily win the World Cup.

1) 8 batsmen - All are genuine batsmen.

2) 4 left handlers and 4 right handlers in top 8.

3. Exciting fast bowling lineup with Bumrah, Siraj and Umran.

Only minus is no "wicket-taking" spinners. But to accommodate Kuldeep, need to drop one of Jadeja/Sundar, but then that would leave with 4 number 11s.

So it's fine.

Iyer, Rahul, Axar and Chahar/Thakur would make up the squad to 15.

Below is an 11 with one of the best chances to win the title (best chance = most likely to win among options, not that it will reach SF or something. It could crash out but if it plays well, it has the best chance):

Gill

Shaw - a wild card who will either get runs quickly or get out ... or equivalent (Samson, Hooda, SKY, Pant, etc., who can bat anywhere)

Kishan - the thread is about fitting Kishan assuming that he mains his good form

2 from S Iyer, Samson, SKY, Pant, & Hooda

Sir Don (c)

Tewatia - a player who can do well under pressure. ODIs will allow him to play a few more balls to get his eye in ... or someone like Jadeja if in form

Sundar or equivalent (Kuldeep, Bishnoi, etc.)

Moshin - left arm pace option. can bat a bit too

Bumrah - experienced bowler quota

Siraj or Umran or equivalent

Introduce a quota system in the team, although this one will be based on performance. That way selectors get to highlight their picks for regionalism, nepotism, commercial reasons, economy class or budhapa while they pick rest of the team.

This is such a solid team , probably Pant as backup. But knowing TM and especially Dravid, Rohit will replace Gill, Hahul will replace sky , chahal will replace Sundar and Shami)Bhuvi will replace Umran.

Sky is yet to establish himself in ODIs. Hardik should bat at 5. Sky 6. While Pant too can be a match winner.
