How is this different from Harbhajan wearing his funny cap all the time??

2011 when India won the WC... during the presentation ceremony, im sure someone opened a champagne bottle to spray when the cup was handed to Dhoni and im also sure Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel ( both Muslim) were present during this act and did not leave their team mates by running off because a bit of champagne was in the air. Now according to you if they are any less of a Muslim then maybe they dont need your validation. Maybe for them the thrill of their country winning the WC is above and beyond their religion. Same cant be said for Rashid or Moeen ( who dont sing the english national anthem and arent involved in the english cricket culture). This is just OTT cringe.

There are different kind of mulslim, some very religious like Moeen and Rashid and majority either "moderate" or "liberal" which I think Zaheer and Munaf belonged to, hence were not "afraid" of alcohol. Its not uncommon to find muslims who drink alcohol, not just here in USA but in Pakistan also. Like all hindus are not vegetarian.

Anyway, why are you getting your chaddies in a twist over something trivial? Why is it affecting you so much?

Exactly! Also knowing Ind media hounds, they would probably slate Zaheer & Munaf for doing what Rashid/Moeen did.

The “so called funny hat” doesn’t cause inconvenience or impose on others, create nuisance or is incompatible with any culture in the world.

These guys were running as if they planted a bomb and are escaping. They could stand on the sidelines if they wanted. No one is forcing the champagne down their throat. There are plenty of Hindu/Christian players who don’t drink alcohol but they don’t create such scenes or show their religion.
