Sundar passed with flying colors

Rest 4 were indifferent. Some good matches, Some mediocre

Siraj,Unadkat should be the first to be shown door.

Thakur, Vijay should not be discarded right away.  May be few more chances.

No player deserves to be discarded off of one bad game.  IPL will give all of these guys plenty of chances to show what they can do on a consistent basis.

Vijay & Thakur deserve more chance, Siraj needs to go back to domestics & work on his temperament , Unadkat needs to go back to domestics and stay there .

Bigger question is do rookies need to be judged based on T20 performances?

Vijay, not seen much of him in domestics or IPL, but with his build he can surely work on his bowling to add a few more km and batting to able smash it from ball 1, will give him benefit of doubt for batting due to debut jitters in a final

Vijay should be shown the door for T20. I’d play him in an inconsequential Test or ODI

I don't think selectors and management are going to drop Unadakt in T20s, despite playing a game less he ended up joint 2nd highest wicket with 7 wkts, and series wise, all pacers took a beating

Only Thakur & Sundar deserve more chances.Rest all should be shown the door. Shankar is not international material.

What we saw from Shankar yesterday is no different from what we saw from yuvi in a much bigger final. So Shankar, thakur and sundar for me.

he is a proper batsman ,dont judge him by yesterday's efforts, he can play for ind as batsman in all 3 formats,his bowling is just a lottery cant depend on him but he can develop into angleo matthews type bowler

Sundar - Great temperament. Already set.

 

The only other one is Shankar. I saw him bat before and I believe it was an off day, but how he lets it go and develops will be a test of his character.

Sundar is the find of the tournament. Looks like he belongs at this level. Shankar is not a good T20 batsman atm. He should be given a chance in ODI/tests. He looks more of a proper batsman. Shardul should be given more chances. Siraj needs to go back to domestic cricket and work on bowling yorkers. Unadkat should never play for India again.
