Will Rohit easily walk into test team if he hits another century in ODIs?

Last time it took him 1 test 100 against SL and 1 ODI double 100 to get a place in test side during SA series.

This time he has already hit 2 centuries and scoring 1 more can show team management that he is in great form, thus deserves a chance on the basis of form.

Rahane was struggling last time when Rohit was preferred, but it's not that his overall form has improved recently.

Rohit should be played at no.3 in odi cricket.

This way he will escape the swinging ball and KLR along with dhawan will fully utilize the powerplay..

I predict that Rohit will succeed atleast 7/10 times in odi cricket if we do this.

K.l Rahul had his fair share of troubles playing moving ball outside off stump In Sa.

I think management will take a punt on him because he is acclimatized to the conditions in England albeit in different format. It will be interesting to see if Mumbai lobby will call for his inclusion.

I pray BCCI allows LOI specialists to play overseas T20 leagues and Rohit/Chahal/Dhawan etc. are kept busy by those. Our team management and Selection committee are masters of extrapolating performance in one format to another.

I was watching some highlights of the odi and Bhaji was pushing for Rohit to get into Test side after he scored a century yesterday. I won't put it past Kohli to push Rohit into the team. Rahane better get ready to warm the bench.
