Rapidly turning into an Indian Mark Ramprakash - given endless rope but bar the odd cameo has done little of substance in test cricket and is progressively getting worse rather than better.

It is time to move on from KL, talent minus temperment is useless. He got enough chances. Only hope is MO in T20s. When Shaw gets unbanned or groom Gill to partner Mayank. He can comeback if he corrects technique and huge amount of runs in Ranji or IPL.

imo they wont pick Gill for the  SA  series.

He may not have picked up his performance in test cricket but in T20Is he is proving to be a tremendous upgrade over Shikar Dhawan which the TM is unnecessarily promoting.

I agree that he needs to be persisted with and he might end up being our best T20I batsman. In case of T20Is, he is proving everyone right as most of ICF seem to rate him above Dhawan.
