Popular Post mani sha Posted October 23, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 23, 2019 Guys it seems most have forgotten the long term loss we are gonna have given we beat South Africa right after our exit from World Cup - shastri continued to brag mindlessly - kohli is emboldened enough to take more authoritarian actions following careers now at risk pant - will be missed in away cycle when we need to counterattack shaw - will now go extinct for few years vihari - likely to play only on most tough pitches abroad sharma - await his failures in sena countries . His surya mahadasha seems to have aided him with no steyn like bowler but make no mistake - he is a duck on a swinging wicket and will cost us an away series for sure in odi and t20 we are sure to be non winners given our captain prefers age over youth Adamant, Sandeep99, sergio04 and 9 others 2 5 2 3
Rightarmfast Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 I am glad somebody brought this out. The world cup debacle must never be forgotten and shastri must be held accountable. Its about time that a shift in power takes place. Too much has been given to a few little, like Dhoni, kohli and shastri. Under these rotten apples, we have a joker selector dancing to their tunes so he keeps his position. Waiting for the day Dhoni and Kohli are shown their place and Shastri is kicked out permanently. Suhaan Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) A loss against this weak opponent in lois would have done world of good in the longer run Im feeling sad for future prospects like Pant and Shaw, both of them will be lost in wilderness just because we'll be deluded by performances of their replacements, but im sure these guys will be rendered useless when we tour SENA again Edited October 23, 2019 by Suhaan Norman 1
Nikhil_cric Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 More than that. Jadejas bowling form has gone down but TM are convinced he's a no. 6 after scoring runs against hapless Windies and Saffers. They'll play a lineup with Rohit at the top , Saha 6, Jadeja 7, 3 quicks and Ash in Enzed - where the ball doesn't turn at all. Batting will be heavily dependent on Kohli and pujara and both jadejas batting and bowling will end up being ineffective on those pitches. adi B 1

But even then there's no guarantee that there will be any considerable changes. Stan AF 1
Deleted_User_1 Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Yep, despite winning the series comprehensively, it is India that is the chewtiya here. Dada please pull some tricks out of your hat and remove Bewda. I think Prithvi Shaw's career might have prematurely ended, some by fate, some by this stupid actions. Norman 1
Forever Indian Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) This is exactly what the TM wanted and has achieved. Now they can ride on home performances for next 3 years at least. Edited October 23, 2019 by Forever Indian Suhaan and Norman 2
Gollum Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) Part of WTC...120 points gained Consolidated #1 ranking...test mace all but guaranteed next year Takes impressive home streak forward..what is it now, 26-1 ? Scars inflicted upon Proteas, warning to other teams All round performance Legendary keeping by Super Saha Rohit the opener, Mayank scoring 100s, hostility of quicks, Kohli's rut ending, Rahane continuing resurgence, spinners doing well Whining and worrying can come later, now is the time to celebrate the GOAT home test side (when you take into account home records of all sports still we will come out among the top). You realize what an honour it is for others to play a series in India, pinnacle of the sport, toughest test in their lives like playing Nadal in Philippe Chatrier. Some negatives no doubt, but need to relish the good stuff. ODI/T20 mein bahut problem hai 100% agree, 1 months before NZ tour there will be legit concerns about our SENA blunders from last cycle...right now home fortress is impregnable so sit back and Edited October 23, 2019 by Gollum Adamant, Norman, Pratik77 and 3 others 1 2 3
Gollum Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) Losses in JAMODI/T20 format is ok, there can be positives to be gained in setbacks there. But test losses (or draws at home) no way, we have to be ruthless. How can there be damage by winning a test series 3-0, against a top 5 side? Edited October 23, 2019 by Gollum Vilander 1
vvvslaxman Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Guys give some credit to Shami, Umesh for bowling skillfully on those wickets if not anything else. they outbowled Rabada, Philander. It was such a brilliant sight to watch them bowl. We won without Bumrah. SK_IH, Vilander, Mosher and 1 other 1 3

Vilander Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 there is no *ing longer run in sport. its winning every game that matters. Development needs to be done in development territories ( domestics, a tours, less value internationals/trilaterals etc).

rtmohanlal Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 not sure permanent damage or not .... one thing for sure .... this TM concentrates more on being ruthless at home there by ensuring the no:1 ranking intact than better performances in SENA countries. The results achieved by them in SENA countries have been far from adequate given the bowling strength this team possess. All they could achieve was a 2-1 win vs AUS with Smith-Warner duo absent and with toss playing a vital part . At the same time a lower ranked Srilanka thrashed SAF 2-0 in SAF convincingly(chasing huge scores in 4rth inns in both tests) which is an emphatic testimony to the inadequacy of this TM. For them to have attained at least some legacy would depend on the next round SENA tours. If they can win at least '2 out of 4' in SENA they can be said of having reaped the fruits of their long term strategies .To be more precise, Rahane,Pujara & Rohit have been part of this TM's long term plans and they have played a huge part in the results in SENA as of now.Moving forward , if the 3 of them (Rahane,Pujara & Rohit) can turn it around in SENA in the next round ,TM then can justify their legacy. Other wise they would have proven to be a big disaster. Fans still are not convinced with Rahane,Pujara & Rohit because of them being highly inconsistent ,especially Pujara & Rohit .So , a lot depend on these 3 to determine as to whether this TM was being efficient or not Forever Indian 1
