He was as jerk in the show ....whether he was in real life is another matter. People can only react to what people choose to show .

He seems to have grown for the better. He says fatherhood has changed him for the good . Good for him.

 

Besides.....who really knows the real person in these times of social media. May be that was a false image ....or this is a false image ....or both are just curated images of a star.

Correct. He was an arsehole in this show. Show disrespect to the culture of India and its people. Im fine if he does this in his private life and he should if thats what he wants to do and he plays well. However, to advertise this and brag about it is shameless.

 

Im glad and hoping fatherhood has matured him.

The truth lies somewhere in between, people can be good/bad/fugly depending on the times they live in & the environment they grew upon. What you do with the power or influence you have is what makes or defines you, in that Hitler/Stalin vs FDR stand in stark contrast. Pandya is not in such a position of course but the image of flashiness is what I personally despise & in this day & age of materialism unfortunately is what sells the most! He'll do well to to sell what India's been mostly known for, over 5 millennia.

Pandya often acts like a clown, sometimes faker, immature, Neymar-like etc....but appears to be good at heart. Could be a T20/ODI captaincy option in the post Kohli/Rohit setup. Good if youngsters and his peers are comfortable around him, may be a good man manager and mentor. I think even Ishan Kishan acknowledged Hardik's contribution in helping him improve his fitness. 

 

Don't judge him based on the Koffee episode, all of us have done worse **** in our college days. People mature, people change...

A good leader post the Koffee episode would have chewed the ears of KL/Hardik behind closed doors but defended them before public in a sensitive way, pointing out their young age, immaturity, occasion and assurance that it wouldn't happen again. Followed by a crash course to all national players and future prospects, IPL/Ranji players covering media training, how to conduct themselves on SM, and in talk shows. But they joined the digital lynching mob and further humiliated the players. 

 

Come to think of it both are from middle class families, maybe the sudden fame/exposure/riches and getting invited to a popular Bollywood show overawed them and they were trying to fit in, hence unnatural behavior. Many sportsmen face this difficulty in initial days of their fame, even legendary boxers and footballers, and in many cases things are worse than loose talk on TV. 

 

Edulji is a disgraceful piece of work. Even after their apology and subsequent ban the old witch didn't let up. What a disaster CoA was, in all aspects!!!!

Good on Pandya, but why the heck was he given MOS in first place? He played one good innings in this T20 series but Natarajan bowled well in all 3 matches. Seriously, the adjudicators need to develop some unbiased brain cells!!!
