Too much wokeism and activism, little cricket plagues Indian Cricket Team

Bad strategy (from selectors), bad team tactics (from shastri, Rat, and TM), unfit and aging players (pandu, rohit, rat), bubble life and fatigue, lack of motivation compared to IPL - all of these are bigger reasons for the humiliating display

Ipl money has turned them woketards.. that money deserves to go to hockey lads

if hockey had the same level of investment and attention, I am around 90-95% sure we would kickstart another Golden era of Indian hockey

Too much bollywood proximity has done this.

Dont know about rohit but kl is dating bollywood chick.  It doesn't matter yuvraj was a playboy still won us two world cups. Current team is mentally weak, kl , kohli, Rohit don't inspire any confidence at world stage.

I have no issues with players doing whatever activism they like. As the saying goes - all work and no play make Jack a dull boy. A person should be multidimensional to have personal growth.

Let's focus on discussing the performances on field, along with decisions, tactics, strategy, etc.

how is Kohli speaking out about religious hate aimed at one of his players a problem on the pitch?

Absolutely nothing wrong with this or support for the BLM movement. But when you perform worse than associate nations, questions are bound to be raised about the focus of the captain and the motivation level of the team. The meek surrender followed poor body language (of the entire team), a palpable fear on the field and clueless leadership.

The reactions would have even more sharper (I donnot condone any sort of abuses or threats) if the WC was played in front of home fans, as initially scheduled.
