Popular Post Malcolm Merlyn Posted October 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 31, 2021 Too much wokeism and activism is plaguing the team. Bollywood PR type acts has really hurt this team badly. Kohli needs to be removed from captaincy and team must be told to strictly concentrate on cricket or else they will be dropped. Popular Post kepler37b Posted October 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 31, 2021 Wokeism is a side show. The real issue, in my humble opinion, is selecting players on past form INSPITE of red flags from IPL. We suffer more from "seniorism" than wokeism. beetle, Norman, SRT100 and 11 others 2 3 9
diga Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 I am not sure how many of you observed, but almost every advertisement on Star Sports had either cricketers or bollywood actors. Where is the creativity in Ad industry ? So sad to see Tridibans_16 and beetle 1 1

Vijy Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Bad strategy (from selectors), bad team tactics (from shastri, Rat, and TM), unfit and aging players (pandu, rohit, rat), bubble life and fatigue, lack of motivation compared to IPL - all of these are bigger reasons for the humiliating display addicted4444 and tweaker 1 1

zen Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 I have no issues with players doing whatever activism they like. As the saying goes - all work and no play make Jack a dull boy. A person should be multidimensional to have personal growth. Let's focus on discussing the performances on field, along with decisions, tactics, strategy, etc. SrinjayDutta, upriser7, Vickydev and 2 others 5
goose Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 how is Kohli speaking out about religious hate aimed at one of his players a problem on the pitch? raki05 1

Absolutely nothing wrong with this or support for the BLM movement. But when you perform worse than associate nations, questions are bound to be raised about the focus of the captain and the motivation level of the team. The meek surrender followed poor body language (of the entire team), a palpable fear on the field and clueless leadership. The reactions would have even more sharper (I donnot condone any sort of abuses or threats) if the WC was played in front of home fans, as initially scheduled.
