Even Nidihaas trophy felt more exciting to win.

Asia cup last year was off the charts exciting and fun.

i think 2002 CT win comes close to being this auraless.

feels like we won some random bilateral series lol.

anyone else feel the same?

I think CT 2025 was auraless or rather was not as entertaining as this Wt20,primarily because it was played In Dubai and Pakistan !

Also the Wt20 2024 didn't kick In till we reached the semis ,I was fed up of losing In the KOs for a decade then

Probably feels 'Auraless' coz Indian fans are not used to witness their team grab one sided victory in an ICC tournament Final.   This T20 side is ruthless.  They were a bit sloppy in the initial phase of the tournament, only to hv peaked at the right moment.   They never looked back.   (Only Windies of 1980s and Aussies of 1999-2007 hv shown this level of ruthlessness)

Why is it Auraless, this has been the most dominant win in Indian history.

Sanju Samson has played the three most dominant knocks by any Indian batsman in knockout matches.

I think what is the OP is suggesting is: It looks auraless, from a neutral fan's perspective.  (Not from an Ind fan's perspective).   Coz the match was too one sided.  With no climax at any stage.

Australia missing out from next round made the tournament little less competitive in super 8 until the last match vs WI

Yup this might be it. SL,Pak,Zim- that’s 3 mediocre teams in super 8. While WI did perform well, their bowling is a joke. They are mediocre too. Maybe Ind -Sa close final would have made this tournament.

Australia in Indian conditions is a different team even with stoinis opening the bowling lol Marsh alone can win matches on his own.

Zim had the game and the players for SL pitch but they had a good WC. Raza led them well and Brian Bennett has a good future. They need to find lower order hitters

This was so one sided. After our first 6 over never thought that NZ were in it.

@Gollum one in 6 finals for NZ now.

Still not chokers?

where was the choke today? They got blown away by a far better team.

Who did they beat in this WC? RSA in SF, Lanka in Super 8, Afg in group stage. Lost against Ind, RSA, Eng. 3 wins, 3 losses against top 8 teams. Made SF because of NRR and the washed out game against Pooks. There is a huge gulf in class between them and us.
