Dhoni looks leathargic and cant count on him for big chases when early wickets fall

Raina selection is joke and sad situation considering so many better options available

To be honest both Raina and Dhoni shouldn’t be part of ODI WC 2019

Pant was superior to Dhoni in recent IPL, and plenty of replacements for Raina

I really don't like Dhoni,Raina in the team. Young players ie Pant,Kishan,Rana,Iyer, should have played in their places.

The selectors should have also included young pacers ie Khaleel, Siraj, etc in the squad. But this selection committee selects short medium pacers who have played atleast 6 years of domestic cricket ie Shardul, Siddharth, Chahar etc.

Top 4 looks stable. Need to figure Rahul vs Kohli at 3 and 4

Spinners have been impressive. Bhuvi and Bumrah will be back to lead the bowling. Pandya will stay our fifth bowler.

5/6 and reserve spots are very concerning. With the form that Rayudu was in, I was excited to see how he’d do in England.. he’s been made to sit out.. Was also waiting to see how Krunal or Sundar perform when given a chance in England. One got injured, the other dropped in favor of the useless Axar.

Also wanted to see how Karthik does give his pre-IPL and IPL form. Sadly, Kohli doesn’t want to look beyond Dhoni claus and Raina

Karthik and Krunal at 5 and 6 and Pandya at 7 should have been the line up for England

Forget 2019, start planning for 2023 home WC. If we aren't going to win the whole thing best thing for Indian cricket will be to see a repeat of 2007 WC next year that forces us to get our **** together. A SF spot will give a very misleading picture and may open the door for the likes of Bhajji, Yuvi, Gambhir, Dhoni, Raina, Ashwin, Jadeja etc to dream about 2023 as a final hurrah in front of home fans . Indians are the dumbest set of people and may even celebrate such a calamity.

Anyway we are playing WC 2019 a few days after IPL, don't expect the likes of Kohli, Bhuvi, Shami, Pandya, Kuldeep...(may be 10 others) to feature in it. Pant may be our mainstay after all......IPL 2019 schedule has already cost us the WC title.

The current team with Dhoni and Raina and who knows even Ashwin, Yuvi if they somehow come back will almost certain ensure we don’t win the WC.

By this time, we should have at least tried a WK batsman to groom ahead of Dhoni to prepare for the WC. With that not happening, it could be trouble come next year.

Raina has to go surely,he is absolutely useless

In so far as Dhoni is concerned we are unfortunately stuck with him for the 19' WC,we have to hope he is more proactive instead of rebuilding mode,so isse tou jhelna padega

Pant,Krunal and another batsman have to be drafted in to the side, formulaic thinking has to depart from the entire system

Similarly in bowling,it's an absolute shame guys like Sid Kaul are playing ODIs for Ind,no apparent skill set apart head band of course, clearly this betrays an absolute inane selection committee

Mark my words, India will not win the WC in England next year. Nope, not gonna happen with this team and Jharkhandi behind the wicket.

It won’t be bad after all that we lose most of our league matches, so the selectors get a rude shock and some backlash.

Hunt for replacements for Dhoni and Raina should have started a year back. These selectors and Kohli have no long term vision. So we are stuck with these players now. Same is the case with back-up pacers. We should have given Rajpoot, Khaleel and Siraj few games by now. These idiot selectors wasted time in giving useless Unadkat chances. Now doing the same with Kaul and Shardul. In the end we will probably go with Umesh or Shami to WC.

Scary to imagine some of them getting injured after ipl. Why couldn't they move ipl schedule.

We can replace Dhoni even now, Rahul was used as apart time keeper in the Natwest trophy for the first time IIRC, 6 months down the line we had the best WC outfit after Aus. Even a part time keeper can get you the desired results so long as he's a safe keeper, KL can be tried in this position, but there's no cure for Dhoni down the order.
