  1. 1. Match ka mujrim

    • Dhawan - batting/catching/thigh-fiveing
    • Rahul - caused 1st innings collapse
    • Vijay
    • Rahane
    • Pandya - Dhoni ka gadha - na batting na bowling
    • Umesh
    • Ishant (I1)
    • Ashwin - Batting (too harsh)
    • Shami - 2nd Innings
    • DK - batting/wicketkeeping
    • Finally Kohli - captaincy/selection

Recommended Posts

Dhawan - 2 failures plus dropping catches (esp the 2nd innings cost the match totally)

Vijay - He was ok in the first innings, left the ball that was jagging in

Rahul - total disappointment, both innings, can't replace Pujara, but can replace Dhawan

Rahane - was ok in the first innings, but let down with a loose shot in the second

DK - dropped catches, failed with the bat

Pandya - Got us close in the second, but his bowling is a liability, we might as well get a specialist bowler or a specialist batsman

Ashwin - can't fault him at all, too harsh to depend on his batting totally

Shami - second innings bowling as not par, he was good in the first

Umesh - sprayed a lot in the first, but was good in the second although he was not used much

Ishant - Was brilliant in the second, passable in the first

Kohli - For the captaincy , selecting Dhawan over pujara, Kuldeep not tried over Pandya/Umesh

As much as it is easy to blame the batting, we need to learn a lot from England bowlers. There were no hit me balls, almost every over there were a few chances. Rahul second inning got a jaffa from the 3rd seamer. Curran was their weakest bowler and he got 4fer in 1st inning!

Batsmen need a lot of luck to go their way on such pitches.. but our bowlers did not build any kind of pressure. Why not squeeze the runs especially for lower middle order?

And yes, Shikhar needs to be replaced with Pujara, Pandya with Jadeja and Umesh with Bumrah. Hopefully Karthik with Pant as well but that is less likely.

Main culprits were Rahane and Dhawan both of them dropped Jennings and Curran in combined that cost India 80-82 runs.

Kl played a horrible shot in the first innings to set the trend for our collapse.

Our slip catching has been horrible since 2013 yet no one cares neither the players nor the coaching staff which to be honest is non existent with a cheerleader in charge who believes in sleeping during our matches and is more interested in getting wasted in pubs and bars.

India needs to have a solid middle order like they had previously. They miss Dravid, Laxman & Tendulkar big time. There should be somebody to support Kohli to hang a partnership.

Lala jaan ab wo time gaya unfortunately ye t20 ka zamana hai ab wo patience level kisi bhi player me nahi hai except ikke dukke.

Sometimes learn to give credit to the opposition also.

It was their home and their conditions and take this loss like a man.

Dropped cathch by Dhawan shows the lack of knowledge on part of people. Batting should have done better.

Batting failed here and no one else. If you cannot chase sub 200 then the problem is batting.

Kohli for not picking Chepu, KD while  picking giving proven failure Dhawan another opportunity .

During odi series, I remember English cricket experts taling hours and hours how to tackle a problem like KD during tests,  moaning- how domestic league cant produce a quality leggie, forget one even anywhere close to KD

How about the rest? Rahul? Rahane?

Both of them are correct decisions. Our number 1 and 2 are going iut so early that 3 4 5 are having to see fired up anderson Stokes Barbie. Curran was one off. Do mot expect him to do any thing next game
