Most Asian batsmen and spinners play till 37 to 39. Lots of Australian, English and West Indians do the same.

 

South Africans are the early retirees.

Nothing wrong in being realistic and realising that if there are better options than you in a format then you should give up on that.

Much better than being a leech for a decade like some players in our T20 team.
