Trichromatic Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 What a dominant performance! Vijy, AuxiliA, sarcastic and 4 others 1 6
coffee_rules Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Congratulations. This is good for cricket To self: Don’t make fun of the name Ebodot, don’t Vijy 1
Vijy Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Thoroughly professional and excellent performance. The batsmen put away flashy shots and ground the NZ bowlers down by making them bowl for nearly 2 days. The bowlers maintained solid lines and lengths and got some reverse. One of the most striking aspects of the win was that there was no chaos, no last-min heroics - just a robust execution of the tactics. I'll take a calm and comfortable win most days over a heart-thumping narrow win because this indicates that one team was generally much better than the other. jf1gp_1 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Well done BD. Great win and they needed this shot post T20 wc.
Forward Defence Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 This is easily their greatest cricketing achievement. Well done Bangladesh. Suhaan 1
Frustrated Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 See the timing. This performance has come at a time when Bangladesh cricket looked dead. Even most of their fans had stopped watching cricket. ravishingravi, nevada and Lone Wolf 3
Sean Bradley Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 (edited) What an emphatic win. Well done to Bangla Tigers, especially against NZ where other Asian sides have struggled, this was not even a marginal victory, it was total dominance. a thumping performance. Respect. vayuu1 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 (edited) Kiwi commentators were shell shocked,u could see from their reactions ,that they couldn't believe this has happened to them in their own backyard, for just putting those annoying kiwi commies congrats Bangladesh, though we have to bear Athar"my word"Khan. nevada Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Stunning victory, congratulations to Bangladesh! Finally the Kiwis have been tamed in their own den.
Real McCoy Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Congratulations to Bangladesh. They have done something India hasn't for the past few years. Beat NZ in NZ. And it was a convincing victory not a fluke. They dominated for all 5 days and won.
Lone Wolf Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 I mean Kiwi commies throughout kept undermining Bangladesh & earlier on day 1 they bashed them for including spinners. Bunch of pussi*s these guys. Well done to bangers for this phainty.
SK_IH Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Shocking performance to say the least. NZ just sleepwalked throughout the game thinking Bangladesh will self destruct. This is even more shocking than when once Lanka defeated NZ in 1995. Lanka had some legit legends in the making but this Bangladesh side can't boast of such credentials & they absolutely stream rolled greatest NZ side in their backyard. Hard to fathom, one of the greatest upsets in sports. On a relatively flat track, NZ bowlers looked innocuous & the bluster of best bowling attack in the world goes to the bin.

Stan AF Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Congratulations to Bangladesh on a special win.

How in the * are they the best bowling attack rofl. India has the best all condition attack. Best attack maybe in swing conditions. That's it. On flat wickets and turners we have the best attack. He'll on bouncy wickets we are the best with Australia. Only in swing conditions we are maybe 2nd or 3rd after Kiwis and perhaps s.africa

Kudos to them. Logged into pp just to congratulate MMHS a guy whose posts i enjoyed reading.
Clarke Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Well done BD! Was thinking whether NZ were tired, it would have been a real stretch if the Pak tour had gone on followed by T20 WC & India tour.
Austin 3:!6 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Bangladesh pace bowling attack is actually not bad. Ebaot and Shoriful are both tall seamers who generates good bounce. Taskin is skiddy who can hurry the batsman. Then you have Fizz as well. The problem with BD cricket and the reason they lose so many games is bcoz they produce pathetic pitches at home which takes away anything their seamers can offer. They have this mindset that they can only win on square turners with their spin bowling. Hopefully they will learn lesson from this win and produce sporting wickets at home. They have the ingredients to become a decent test team.
