attention seekers:giggle:

says the guy who comes up with the cringiest names possible for cricketers . Must be loving the garbage so much that he loves posting in a forum made by people of garbage couuntry

There are plenty of people like him in my area. They stay in Dharavi and Mankhurd if you all can google.

Ah ha, possibly a multiple ID (?)

Good to know that you have an opinion and that your area is Dharavi or whatever. I can't be bothered to google as I have no interest in your opinion. I have been posting on such forums for years so pardon me for being "picky" on whom I interact. Note that it is you who came to a thread which is not designed for you. On top of that you are trying to attack a poster (rather than commenting on the topic) who does not even know that you exist.

This was a thread to cheer the Count playing potentially his last inning in SA. If haters can't give fans their space, they have only themselves to blame for their miseries. I will have many more.

If you are actually "new" to the forum ... Enjoy your stay here but my posts and such topics are meant for fans and fun loving cricket followers.

People who have been writing against the Count interacting are trying to latch on too whatever, however rudimentary and random, is thrown at them :hysterical:

I think many people are misunderstanding the context of "impactful" in this thread.

Impactful = having a major impact or effect

You have to give it to Pujara for that. By his absolutely horrendous and momentum sucking batting, he has had the most adverse impact on the Indian team's results outside Asia. The only occasion in which he had a positive impact was during the Aus tour in 2018/19. What his plodding also did was introduce some demons in the minds of subsequent batsmen that the pitch is not very conducive to batting even when that wasn't the case. So, you have to give it to Pujara for making a very solid impact and have to call him "impactful" in that context.

Pujara is literally our most " impact-ful " batsman while playing in SENA.

His body is full of impact-marks when ball after ball after ball hit his slow to react body.

Yep, lots of impact there too!

Our batting is masking the shortcomings of our famed express bowling that can’t defend 240 or 211 on a day4 I4 pitch, twice in two Tests

Oh im so devestated that you are not aware about my existence...what would I do with my life now..:giggle:

oh dnt teach me about forum ethics, i have been at this game since the internet opened up .

You can be as picky as you want but if you are opening a public thread in a public forum , don’t lecture others if they “belong” to that thread or not. If you dont want criticism for the mostly absurd stuff you post dont open a thread. Stop crying

oh btw anyone not agreeing toyoury point is NOT a hater.

You are a very clever troll. If smone posts aagainst smthng you “believe” in, you try to indirectly intice them to a flame war by calling out how inferior they are to you , and other “better than you “ shyte.

I expect people to talk on the topic ... As for the point/topic, it is on cheering for the first Indian win in SA preferable through the Count, who I support. This is not a thread on stats, or prediction, on Rahane, on what the Count did in the series, but simply taking a step back and enjoying the ride in the final inning whatever the result.

People start a lot of thread against the Count (such as drop ...), I do not go to every thread to post. Some of the guys post the same stuff on every thread on a player irrespective of the topic ... Nor do I go to a new forum to attack posters out there (irrespective of how long I have been in the game)

As I said before, only interested in quality interactions!! It is 2022, I have posted on forums for a long time so it is also time to be more "picky" (also saves time)  ...  And with that I will move on from you!!

These two have been ridiculously sub standard players plying on the legacy of previous gen.. we should have dropped them long back

Single peak players.  Also not prolonged peak players.  Someone like Chris Broad, Michael Vaughan.

Another failure of series for Pujara.

Leading runs scorer for India in this series :-

KL Rahul - 226( AVG 37)

Pant - 185( AVG 37)

Kohli - 161(2 test)( AVG 40)

Rahane - 136( AVG 22)

Mayank - 135( AVG 22)

Pujara - 124( AVG 20)

6th run scorer for India and it is only because Jadeja was not playing. Vihari played one test and got 60 runs, would have probably surpassed Pujara too if got 6 chances.

The series in Aus is worth like 10 series for many! … Teams can win a series overseas esp. in multiple attempts or once in a generation (Pak is still attempting to do so)

Jayasuriya for e.g. won SL a world cup. No one cares where he was placed in 1999 or 2003. Performances to win 1996 WC, the only for that country, is worth in tons of gold.

Steve Waugh did well in WI in the 95 series, which is what he is known for.

Sehwag is mainly a hero for his exploits in Pak. No one cares where he was placed in a certain series in SA where Ind lost.

Dravid career is know for a couple of innings he played - one in Aus and one in Eng. Who cares who was the highest scorer or 5th highest scorer in a series in Aus in 1999.
