Austin 3:!6 Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 World cup got over some 6 months back but Dhoni didnt got selected in any format since. Selectors have clearly mentioned that they are looking ahead. If Dhoni had to come back...he would have by now considering poor performance of Pant overall. So is it safe to say Dhoni had already played his last match for India and will never wear blue jersey again? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk velu 1

SecondSlip Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Dhoni will bat like Bradman in the upcoming IPL and all his Bhakts will go mental on social media demanding his return to Team India. I’m calling it right now, if CSK wins the trophy, Dhoni will be on the plane to Australia in October beetle, Jimmy Cliff, saik and 3 others 1 3 2
LordPrabhzy Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 For how much he screwed over Indian test cricket in the last decade he does not even deserve a farewell match... best scenario, invite Zimbabwe to Ranchi and select Dhoni in a 3rd string indian team and play a friendly T20I. Send him packing for good and ab kissa khatam karo. nevada and MCcricket 2

Remember last time we played Zimbabwe in t20, even that malnourished gujju axar Patel embarrassed my hero in not one but two games. https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/10638/scorecard/1007655/zimbabwe-vs-india-1st-t20i-india-tour-of-zimbabwe-2016 https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/10638/game/1007659/zimbabwe-vs-india-3rd-t20i-india-tour-of-zimbabwe-2016 Can we play Papua New Guinea instead? Cricwala Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 With Dhoni, its never over & he will take it down to the wire. We can breathe easy only when T20 WC squad is announced & Thala is not there. nevada and saik 2

So better to fail with a youngster than an oldie.

Saha won't make the cut and neither will the unproven Samson or Kishan. It will be the one and only Dhoni who will somehow squeeze out a good knock targeting the weakest bowlers while hiding well from the good ones, making sure he remains not out. Maybe that is the plan and that is why Pant has not been replaced by Samson or Kishan yet, despite so much criticism from TM and selectors. nevada, Mosher, Laaloo and 2 others 5
ganeshran Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 Dhoni deserves a farewell match. He has been a liability for a long time now but he played a huge part in two or most memorable victories (WC 2011 and T20 WC 2007). Should get a match in Ranchi and say good bye Norman, Mariyam and AuxiliA 2 1

Neither does any other legend. Just a little pre-match or mid-match ceremony to honor the player with a 5 minute(max) speech. That's it. maniac, express bowling and construction430 1 1 1

The offer should be on the table to let Dhoni's status be finalised instead of him looming over the selectors' minds nevada 1
Cricketphile Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 MS Dhoni making a comeback ? If he shows good form this IPL and the Asia xi series, with pants inconsistent form, MS could be back as first choice keeper for the t20 World Cup https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.indiatoday.in/amp/sports/cricket/story/ms-dhoni-international-comeback-march-2020-asia-xi-vs-rest-of-the-world-bcb-bcci-1622489-2019-11-25

New guy Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 (edited) Lol this was always the plan and people who believed otherwise were fooled. Target and demoralize Pant, keep Samson out, shelter Dhoni from international matches. And then based on IPL where he finds it easy, bring him directly back to the world cup Edited November 26, 2019 by New guy maniac, Jimmy Cliff, Laaloo and 7 others 2 1 5 2
