Pandya needs to take his batting average to 25 in T20s and 40 in ODIs if he is gonna bowl like he did today or doesn't bowl sometime.

 

Expectations with bat:-

 

ODIs - 38-39 @115

T20s - 24 @145

 

With bowl :-

 

Should bowl 2 overs in a T20 match.

Should bowl atleast 4 overs in a ODI match.

No.6 and 7 batting positions are India's Achilles tendon for a long time now.
Until they find a better player, players like HP and Jaddu will continue to be considered.
Age is still on his side and there are no players on the horizon that can challenge him, but its not looking all that good for him tbh. Is he a 100 match odi player, only time will tell.

Whom do you have Shardul, Deepak Chahar? Not half as good, Axar is still a compromise ..Venky Iyer untested still

HPs destiny is in his own hands, we will have to wait and see

In fact both the bhai's have become nut cases the way they behave recently .

Needs some treatment . 

Keep him away till he regains top form in bowling and batting. Should feel place is not guaranteed. Invest in Venky for some time.
