As a purist I follow the overall game play which draws me more rather than individual players.

Here are my attribute ratings.

SRH : best fast bowling attack assembled in the history of the game. Better than WI 80’s and Aus 90’s-2000’s. I have a break down of this reasoning which I shall explain soon.

RR: exciting team with young fast bowlers and 2 veteran spinners. Average captaincy but a very good bowling attack. I am more of a bowling guy than a batting guy always.

GT: I like when a team looks ordinary on paper but has character where underdogs bring in their clutch performances. Love it. Kind of like 83 movie.

RCB: they are a cross between Pak and SA in terms of mercurial players and choking with a good squad. Always fun to watch in a train wreck kind of a way but when they get it right, capable of playing quality cricket.

MI: I like how a great team displays crisis management. So many life and leadership lessons to learn. Also has some exciting youngsters.

CSK: love Dhoni’s cricket acumen and how team plays around it. Shows how dictatorial  regimes work. A great case study on politics. Also like Mi and team where scripts get activated. A lot of fun.

Lucknow: just tune in to see how a new team evolves. Yes it has Rahul as captain but I think they have decent staff and are playing “energetic” cricket which I enjoy while it will last.

Punjab: it’s like watching a Telugu movie. Great comedy and entertainment sprinkled with some action (Livingstone, SRK, Odean etc ). Masala package.

Delhi: kind of like Bollywood. Once a great industry but today struggling due to lack of creativity and intensity. However they have one of the most visionary owner of all time. Just picking this guys brain is equal to a Harvard MBA.

KKR: a little boring this year but does have some redeemable qualities but obviously no.10 in my list.

Sorry if this is a little out of the box but this is just a gameplay analysis :)
