The POMS are whinging

Recommended Posts

No one complained when we toured NZ and the matches got over in 3 days in those swinging conditions, no one complained when Eng rolled us over in seaming, swinging pitches, no one complained of bouncy tracks in Australia in the past, did anyone forget about the dangerous West Indian pitches as Ambrose, Walsh and others made merry.

It’s the same goddamn pitch on which Rohit smacked 161 and Rahane scored runs, Pant smacked spinners. Rohit and Pant took the pitch out of the equation by hitting 4s and 6s because they can. No one stopped Eng players from hitting. The odd  ball misbehaved from day one even in the first session.

STFU Mofos, BKL ,mofos who are blaming the pitch. We are 54/1 on the same pitch again. We were just better. Take out Rohit, Pant and Rahane and you get nothing. We also lost 91-7 here. Fukkk off Vaughan , Waugh :whack3:

It is a poorly underprepared pitch. Let there be no doubt about it. On day 1, it had the look of a day 3-4 track. You can't have top surface coming off in the first 4-5 overs.

But all home teams ask for such tailor made pitches when trailing in a home series. Let the English pundits whinge about it.

Hopefully the Ahmedabad pitches will be good sporting tracks. We are good enough to beat poms in such pitches.

I am all for sporting tracks that provide opportunities to both batsmen and bowlers to be competitive ... if ppl are only concerned or follow cricket for wins, something is wrong with sports culture. The issue is that our experienced spinners need these type of pitches to be more effective than the visiting team's spinners. On equal footings, it is difficult for them to be more competitive

Such pitches are made to negate the toss factor.

No, because if you survive the morning sessions with a green top the pitch gets better

No that's a myth, on both our tours to SA the pitches never got better - except Lord's where the sun had just shown its face for England. Batting becomes easier only when the ball becomes old, really really old in Eng, though NZ is a slightly curious case of excessive advantage to the team bowling first.

Had they won the toss they would be singing praise for Leach-Moeen how they used foreign conditions to their advantage. Amazing how so many tests in England have finished within 4 days and now they are whining that this pitch isnt for 5 days of test cricket. I think the pitch is okayish, Rohit single handedly out batted them and placed India in winning postion, I still think Nagpur 2015 against SA was the worst, Poms were expecting flat deck and winning the toss again but that's not how it works. What they should worry about is their shyte batting, No one apart from Root averages even in mid-40s.. They should be thankful that Jaddu-Shami isnt there who would have bundled them out within 100 runs here.
