asterix Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) Haath Kangan Ko Aarsi Kya... it’s all in front of your eyes. Be it abroad or home, fast pitch or spinning one... Rohit has proved that he’s a superior player than overhyped Pujara... All those who’ve been saying bad things about Rohit, please use this thread to repent and apologise to Rohit... Feel free to also express your critical views of Pujara... Edited March 5, 2021 by asterix Frustrated, mishra, sage and 2 others 4 1
Ajju Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 In Asian conditions He is better than all in the world and one of the top 5 player ever. asterix, raki05 and Stan AF 1 2
Clarke Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 This wasn't the case earlier. Players like Jadeja earlier and recently Rohit have raised their game and become indispensable. raki05 and asterix 2
Cricketics Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Seems to be way ahead and in the league of his own when it comes to batting against spin at home. Others can barely bat to spin. Last test he looked class where most struggled. asterix and raki05 2
SK_IH Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Rohit is a great Indian batsman. Disgusting when some fans dismiss him based on imagination about his game against "swing" as if there are others better than him. Appreciate the talent & enjoy while it lasts !!! raki05, nevada and asterix 3
sage Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Glad a lot more people are seeing the light now asterix and raki05 2
coffee_rules Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) Idiotic OP, where was OP in Gabba? But can’t deny Rohit is prestigious in this series, across the teams, he should be MoS . Glad he did it for India about to qualify for WTC final. But why compare across team players and troll? It is all Team India! Edited March 5, 2021 by coffee_rules asterix and Nikola 1 1

Yes against swing most indian batters are mediocre . I think barring kohli no one performed in eng series also if you go by latest series against nz all our batters are mediocre in swinging condition. Atleast rohit is performing in bouncy and spinning pitches and who knows he might turned the tied during next english series. SK_IH, Laaloo and asterix 3
chewy Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Rohit Crapma will be back to heaving thin air when swing comes into fashion in England. Will play customary first match of series I England, made to look like an amateur and then dumped for rest of series. zen 1
coffee_rules Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Jinxed him out OP when we needed him the most @asterix dada asterix 1

Majestic Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) Pujara is a better test batsman than Rohit. Pujara 6000+ runs, Avg 47 Rohit 3000 runs, Avg 46 The difference in their runs is big enough and in away record, it is even bigger. Pujara has played many such knocks at home that Rohit is playing now. Overall, I agree that Rohit is better but in tests, Pujara is better. Edited March 5, 2021 by Majestic

It is comparing chalk & cheese as the the latter’s # benefit mostly from home performances (skipped series such as NZ, first two tests in Aus, and so on) Majestic 1

ShoonyaSifar Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Multiple series wins washed down the drain because Pujara failed in last few tests? Rohit has been phenomenal since he started opening in tests but Pujara has been immense for us in the 2010s. A guy who literally his body behind the line to win us our biggest away series, 47 average, I would put Che at par with VVS among our test bats (whom I watched from 80s onwards) Tier 1 - Gavaskar, Sachin, Dravid, Sehwag, Kohli a shade below them Tier 2 - VVS, Pujara, (Azhar) Tier 3 - Jimmy paaji, Colonel, Dada Tier 4 - Gambhir, Rahane, Rohit will get into tier 2 alongside Oujara there if he goes onto plays at least 60 tests and 4000+ runs kohli and mishra 1 1
