Then why doesnt he F off from the team forever.

This entitlement is F**ing our cricket results.

I thought with Ganguly in charge, things would be different - but Ganguly himself for all the good that he has done for Indian cricket was an entitled prick many a times in his career -- he too is guilty of propagating big name culture.

Only Star Sports & Indian media overhypes this loser.

He has not even 10% of the ability that SRT had.  Guy is not even close to the class of Rahul Dravid even.

Will never be a great batsman in my eyes.

2 years without a century and he is still flying under the radar, happily basking in superstar status. All batting scrutiny articles focus on Pujara, Rahane while this guy escapes as if he is still scoring tons for fun.

Curse on Indian cricket.  Nobody has the guts to speak against him.  Indian fans have also gone soft these days.  Superstar culture I guess.

In old days some angry Indian fellow might beat him in the streets of Nottingham lol

Smith is a better test batsman but doesnt ce close to virat in other two formats.

Kohli is overall the best coz he has been bloddy  good in all format.

Gosh ppl cry as if they have only seen players do well and never fail.  Capatincy pressure isnt easy either and it takes it toll after a point. He scored tons n tons of runs now its a lil bit of dry spell which has happened with everyone.

Kohli has been rubbish recently, but look at the difference in his numbers compared to KW. Imo, KW is pretty overrated. He did well in WTC final but failed in a lot of significant places.

It's not easy doing well against home teams. He did well in WTC because conditions suited his team more than us.

I'd say he is decent at best in ODIs.   Slightly above par record in ODI World Cups.  T20 World Cup performance will always be his legacy & Nothing can take that away from him.

Tests he was always okayish.  Had a dream run in 2016-18.  Either side of that he is decent..  Not earth shattering.

Root Smith were always better in terms of sheer talent.  Root has under achieved massively.  Still younger than other three though.  He is a monster in ODIs in last few years.  Flows under the radar.

KW is another one who is overrated.  Although he doesn't had a too long lean patch.

Before 2016 - avg 44 in 41 matches

SInce 2019 - avg 39 in 17 matches

58 matches - 3951 runs at avg of 43 with 13 centuries

2016-2018, 35 matches 3956 runs at avg of 66.6 and 14 centuries.

2.5 good years and what we are calling as dream run, consider that someone like Smith has entire career at same level.
