rkt.india Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Pandya has shoulder injury which he suffered in T20 WC while batting, got hit on the shoulder.
urbestfriend Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Most probably he has lost interest in donning national colors and wants to become fit for IPL. Frustrated, Sunil_narine024 and raki05 2 1

The Realist Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Aura finally extinguished? Saha has better levels of fitness raki05 and vvvslaxman 2
Pollack Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Hope he becomes fully fit soon and starts bowling too. The only genuine potential All-rounder we have. Sgattick10 1
putrevus Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 People need to stop questioning player about his injuries. Pandya has played thru injuries for his team in past. Let him rest up and work on in his injuires. If I were him, I would say I am done playing test cricket and concentrate on shorter formats. shibnarayan, Lord and Sunil_narine024 3
ShoonyaSifar Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Good on him to say this. Improve fitness, prove he can bowl 12-15 overs in a day in Ranji trophy, try to play as many Ranji Trophy matches as he can, regain form and then comeback to the national side. Should not rush to International cricket. Sunil_narine024 1
Lord Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Doing a Stokes? Selectors shouldn't consider him anyway until he bowls

Why such negativity. Maybe he is serious. He did a more 'respectable' job than our seniors who keep playing despite failing and even during injuries. I am sure Ishant was never fully fit except for two odd years in his 100 test career. Not defending his performance, but he did the right thing here. Banton, upriser7 and Sunil_narine024 1 1 1

Nikola Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Is he trying to prove he wasn't dropped for last and upcoming series? Also is this anyway related to IPL retention of players? MI might have asked him to skip tours and come back fitter to bowl in IPL else they might release him? Anyways hope he gets fully fit to play next IPL raki05 1

Lone Wolf Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Hopefully he gains some muscle mass & work on strength & conditioning. His back is almost like a 60 year old budda. He can't bowl with intensity without doing something about it. Most likely his time is up. If Michael Clarke couldn't recover he is nobody.

Matter of time we produce a superior hitter. Shahrukh Samad Abhishek can always be groomed. Shahrukh looks like a proper hitter. Edited November 28, 2021 by Lone Wolf nevada and raki05 2

Clarke Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 It's good that he's working on his fitness, would be best if he sticks to LOIs. This disease of playing all 3 formats will be too demanding. Even if he sticks to T20s only, it'll still be a good career and India would also prefer a sureshot all rounder who can be relied upon for 4 overs & some slogging. raki05 1
