Suresh Raina is regarded as one of the finest limited-overs players to have played for India © Getty Images Scoring bulk of runs, taking bagful of wickets and being at your acrobatic best. Are these parameters enough to make it to the Indian side? No. The Yo-Yo Test is a mandatory demon to be conquered. Earlier this year, there were several reports of Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh failing the Yo-Yo test. Raina was asked in October about his failure to clear the endurance test to which he shot back, “You (the reporters) speak to BCCI.” Anyway all that is past. Raina, on his bid to make a national comeback, cleared the much hyped Yo-Yo Test at the National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru on Tuesday. He posted the same on his Instagram and also praised the academy. “Cleared my Yo-Yo & fitness test today, after days of hard work at #NCA! Received tremendous support from all the trainers, coaches & officials. Thank you all! It’s always so encouraging to train here at #NCA, motivates me to push my limits and bring the best out of me,” Raina wrote. Edited December 21, 2017 by beetle velu, maniac and Laaloo 3
WC2011INDIA Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 In time for World cup 2019. All part of the plan.
wanted_desi Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Now score double digits in domestic cricket. He is still better option than Kedar.
The Realist Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 What about Amit Mishra's comeback? He also failed the "test" at the same time as Raina Laaloo, velu and Switchblade 3
Laaloo Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Great. More hasbeens in the team already full of hasbeens. SecondSlip, maniac and Mosher 3
sandeep Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Raina wouldn't be the worst choice for that T20 middle order. He's a proven experienced slugger in that format.
rkt.india Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Yo-YO honey singh to theek par runs bhi to banane padenge
velu Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 would be fun if BCCI increae the yo-yo score now and raina needs to clear that again Gollum and beetle 2

bowl_out Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Raina is still a very handy player for T20s.. Wouldn't get him anywhere close to other formats.

cowboysfan Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Raina would be a bad choice for SA, they will just bounce him out.
Cricketics Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Still better than 80% of Indian players for t20. I will pick him in t20 any day, even if that means we have to replace a youngster. He is that good in that format who can bat at any order in t20 amd start scoring runs. Gollum, nevada, The Dark Horse and 1 other 4
