NZ was smart to decide unilaterally. They got the information from a security company they trusted. Why would they mess that up by relaying the same information to entities they don’t trust( PCB, Pakistan authorities etc.).

Why did they even go there in the first place? Their country shut down over 1 covid case but these cricketers were okay with traveling to a country with abundant covid and terror risk? May have been a part of NZ PM Jacinda Arden's ongoing efforts to build bridges with the Muslim community since the Christchurch Mosque attack (9 Pakistanis lost their lives).
